Lowell PTA Welcomes You!

Welcome to Lowell Elementary School!

As you settle in to your new school home or simply prepare for a new year, we want to take a moment to introduce ourselves and let you know that Lowell Elementary has an amazing Parent Teacher Association (“PTA”). The PTA is run by parent volunteers and relies on the support of parents, teachers, and community members in order to be successful.

The Lowell PTA provides valuable and successful programs such as the Back to School Social, Battle of the Books, Author Visits, Chess Club, and Reflections. In the past, we have contributed funds toward the purchase of Dreambox, LLC flexible furniture, recess and PE equipment and the Gaga Ball Pit. We also supplement and reinforce classroom concepts by funding field trips at all grade levels and organizing fun programs for students and families like Jamboree, Culture Fest and Discovery Day. With the help of parents, teachers, and the community, great work is being done to benefit students at Lowell.

Each year our goal is to have all parents join the PTA. The cost is $12 for an individual or $20 per family (2 adults). Your membership includes email alerts regarding important dates and events and a printed school directory. You can join and pay online at http://lowellpta.org/pta-membership-form/.

If you are interested in becoming more involved, please join us at our meetings. The meetings are open to everyone and there is free childcare available. Our first meeting is Friday, September 14th at 9:30am in the Art Room. We will alternate between morning and evening meetings. For more information about the PTA you can out to us at president@lowellpta.org.

We look forward to a great school year and getting to know your family!

Sincerely,
Kristen Lenhardt and Ali Thomas
