Congratulations to the winning team from Trivia Night 2016, Team Ms. Pac-Man. It’s never too early to assemble your team for next year!
This is the 11th year for the exciting Lowell Trivia Night, a PTA social and “FUN”draising event where teams of 10 people compete by answering sets of Trivia Questions. It’s a fun, social time with neighbors and other Lowell parents and staff. The table with the highest score at the end of the evening wins Lowell’s “Traveling Trophy”. The price below includes table reservations and game entry.

Last week we kicked off our major Fall Fundraiser – Laps for Lowell. The best part about this fundraiser is 100% of the monies raised goes directly to the PTA! Our goal is $13,000 this year, which will allow us to make a SIGNIFICANT contribution (inside or outside) to Lowell! The event promotes, fitness, teamwork and fun!! Students will participate in running relays during their regularly scheduled PE time.
We will also be holding a raffle with fun prizes from the Kane County Cougars, Chicago Bears, White Sox, Prairie Path Books, Wheaton Park District, BR Ryall YMCA, Wheaton College, Catigny Golf, Rockin’Jump, Kids Science Labs and much, much more! Raffle tickets will be earned based upon the donations that the students bring in; however, each student will receive one raffle ticket just for participating. In addition, every student who collects $300 or more in donations will win their choice of a Kindle Fire, an iPod Shuffle or an Ozobot robot! And students who collect donations of $500 or more will win a GoPro Hero action camera!
The event will be held during the students’ PE time on Thursday, September 29th. They will be completing the event in their PE squads. If you’d like to help us with this event we will need parent volunteers on the day of the event. We will need people for the AM class times (9 am – 12 pm) as well as PM (1:00 pm – 3:30 pm) class times. Welcome back Lowell parents!! In anticipation for the beginning of school, Lowell PTA will once again be hosting their annual “Back to School Social” Tonight from 4:30 – 6:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity for you and your child to meet their teacher and drop off school supplies as well as learn about the PTA!
While you are enjoying a cool treat, head on over to the PTA table to sign up for your PTA membership or pick up some spirit wear! Memberships are $12 for individuals and $20 for family (2 adults). We will also have water bottles and cinch sacks for sale as well as a preview of the newly designed Lowell themed t-shirts and sweatshirts. We will be accepting cash or check.
